CBD Health of Indiana Touts Benefits of Hemp-Based Products

CBD Health of Indiana is speaking out about the benefits of hemp-based products saying that it is a “persecuted plant”. CBD was illegal in Indiana until legislation passed this year. The company’s goal is to provide education about the benefits of CBD. It also offers safe products to residents of Indiana, according to the company’s owner Ron Drake.

Senate Enrolled Act 52 legalized the sale, use and possession of CBD within specific labeling requirements, the Daily Journal reports. To be legal in the state, the products cannot contain more than 0.3-percent THC. Adults can purchase CBD products for any reason or health benefit.

Drake said, “The way we set this up is so we can really bring them in, sit down with them and consult them. We want to know what their worries are, what their problems are, and then try to prescribe.”

Senator Matt Young authored the legislation to legalize CBD in Indiana and said, “So many people have benefited from using CBD oil to treat a variety of problems like epilepsy, cancer and anxiety. Since we are limiting how much THC can be in the product, there is no risk for people to use this to get high. My hope with this bill is that more Hoosiers will be able to use this product to treat their ailments.”

CBD Health of Indiana is located on State Route 35 in Greenwood. It offers multiple CBD-based products to cater to different ingestion preferences. Some of the products available are lotions, capsules and CBD oil.

Manager of CBD Health of Indiana, Crystal Brown said, “When people walk in, they’re not sure, they can be really skeptical. We can sit down with them and let them know that they’re not going to get high, it’s nothing like that.”

No special retail license is required to sell CBD products in Indiana. Many vape stores carry products. The products must contain labeling codes linking to information about the exact batch of CBD used to make the product.

For CBD Health of Indiana to stock a specific brand, a full lab report must be submitted from a third-party lab. The exact ingredients and concentrations of each product must be included.

Drake said, “We’re going to give you the most pure form of CBD product possible.”

Many of those coming to the store have arthritis, migraines, anxiety and epilepsy.

Drake said, “The proof in the pudding is the second visit from the customers.”
