Forensic Fluids Laboratories has released data suggesting that marijuana is the drug of choice in Indiana. Throughout the state’s 92 counties, marijuana was the drug most found in drug screenings. In Allen County alone, 18.6% tested positive for THC.
The drug tests performed at this lab are oral fluid tests returning faster results, according to The Journal Gazette. The company’s data shows that marijuana is also the “drug of choice” in neighboring Michigan and Ohio.
Cocaine and amphetamines ranked behind marijuana. Cocaine was present in 7% of samples and amphetamines were present in 5.6% of samples.
